E: Oh no, fish friend! How scary that the cat keeps pawing in your water! But mayhaps, the kitty is trying to play with you? While I do agree that cats can be evil, and should never be trusted, maybe this cat is different. If you still feel threatened by this cat, then I would suggests you try to spend all of your time at the bottom of your tank. That way you will be far away from the vicious kitty’s claws!

D: Really, Ellie? Cats are evil? I see how you truly feel now. Well, small fish, let me put your mind to rest. The cat is most likely trying to play with you. Cats hate water, so imagine the trauma that cat is putting themself through just to be your friend. You should feel indebted to that cat! The least you can do is let the cat catch you and bring you out to the carpet where you can both play safely together. Trust me when I say any cat would rather have a field mouse than a small fish. But if your cat is stuck indoors and not allowed outside, then maybe I would panic.
