Well, look at that…summer is here! And this town has been sooo busy with lots of great events, with more to come!
We all had a lot of fun on July 1st, selling our Duck Dive Tickets. We were able to make over $1,300.00 towards our downtown beautification projects. A big thank you to all who purchased tickets and our winners were happy too!
Also, a big shout out to the volunteers that worked so hard on July 1st. Besides our great summer student, Sarah Rath, we had a lot of energy with volunteers: Elaine Brodrecht, Garry Ruttan, Lyndon Cober, Kara and Kassidee Fleiszig, and Greta Dotzert. We couldn’t function without volunteers like this.
So, what’s next?? August is bringing our Sidewalk Sales and Cruise Night. Come to the downtown to shop when our local businesses set up on the sidewalks. It is a great time for sales. Come and see what we have to offer!
Sidewalk sales begin August 14th. Then on Friday, August 16th, a section of Peel Street closes to traffic to make room for beautiful classic cars. Last years’ event was packed. Enjoy the cars, grab some food and drinks, listen to some great music and catch up with old and new friends. You don’t want to miss this!
We at the NH Board of Trade wish you a wonderful summer. See you on the streets soon!
